I can't say I've eaten everywhere around Khao san road in Bangkok but I know a good stall when I see it. A year ago I had the crispy pork there and knew I'd be back. I took 3 others with me when I returned and no one was disappointed.. Since the eatery's name is written in Thai I can't tell you what it's called but I can give you the location and the name of the other eatery/smokery next door called Kush Mart which is at 335 Ram Buttri Aly, Talat Yot, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand.
Naturally we had crispy pork which is great here.
We went for the wonton mee soup and also ordered noodles with char siew pork and ... again crispy pork
Not just because we should eat greens we ordered Morning glory. So love with vegetable.
And so we could sample their take on chicken pad Thai, that was added to our table.
As we were leaving I checked out his crispy garlic. Fried until golden, still with the garlic peel.
