DARK SIDE OF THE MOON POP-UP
Updated: Nov 18, 2021
Two weeks after The Chinese full moon festival (Harvest festival) we had our Dark Side of the Moon. In 2018 the Chinese were first to land on the dark side of the moon, a difficult journey into space and challenging to land successfully - they managed it, and I like to think Pink Floyd was involved blasting out of speakers at touch down. Our menu was electric in keeping with 'the darker side'.
Starter 1: Chinese noodle soup with wontons
Starter 2: Hong Shao Rou (Red braised belly pork) served with steamed rice and pickled cucumber with chilli
Main Course: Coca-cola chicken wings Chicken in dried chilli and cashew nuts Jiachang tofu Salt and pepper battered fish Steamed rice
Dessert: Moon cake with matcha tea ice-cream
