AFTERNOON TEA

Hard not to be seduced by the Pera Palace Hotel's ambience. the Moorish architecture, the history, the ghost of those who stayed there after travelling on the Orient Express from Venice - Agatha Christie started her book 'Murder on the Orient Express' from her bedroom. I believe you can request to stay there, but I suspect it has been refurbished. Between 10-11am and 3-4pm you can visit Ataturk's room (101), which has been kept in the original style (bathroom too) with a few of his personal belongings.

Afternoon tea, looks amazing (haven't sampled it yet) and includes unlimited tea and buffet for roughly 34 dollars. It begins at 3 and ends at 6pm. However, it's suggested you book ahead as another function may have taken over the space.
